So I never thought I would be one of THOSE people you know the one that gains....well I did almost 10 pounds since my surgery.
no excuses, just going to focus on tracking, and training.
This week I am trying the no sugar...its easy for me to say that now because after my weigh in and my plan for tomorrow I did what I also said I would never do and ate more easter candy. I am on a sugar high, so it is always easy to say no more sugar this week. It is the same as saying I will never smoke again after just finishing a ciggerette. It is all the best of intentions UNTIL the cravings hit.
So here it goes...

Don't get discouraged! Life happens. Just get back on track. :-) You can do it!!!!
Don't get disheartened! Sometimes life sucks. Like Leah said, just get back on track :) ((hugs))
I relate to your quest to cut out sugar - I did the Easter candy thing last week too and have been allowing myself little bits of chocolate off and on for weeks, but I discover that allowing just a little bit of chocolate/sweets soon leads to a loss of resolve in general! I binged on Easter candy last week (it was great, by the way) and also allowed myself a few meals and restaurants that I've had to say no to for the past year - but now, like you, I'm avoiding the candy with a 100% policy - until I reach my next goal - could be a few weeks, hopefully not much more!
Just think, it could be worse, you could have gained ALL the weight back! Been there, done that. 10 pounds is nothing in comparison to how far you've come.... just don't let yourself backtrack more. Keep going! You will get there! *hugs*
That sucks Katie! It does but you know what to do. Dust yourself off and get back on that horse.
I think the thing for me this time vs. past attempts is that even when I get derailed - I manage to get back on it and keep pushing forward. In the past I would have just called it quits and said F*ck it... know what I mean? Hang in there girlie!
gaining sucks, but you also have to remember that the weight you lost that week of your surgery prob wasn't lost in the healthiest way either.
anyways, amy's wedding is in 2 months and we gotta look good girlfriend! you should use it as a long term goal and set some short ones along the way to stay on track. i know i am! :)
